wood, a light weight blond wood
that has been used for furniture
and accessories in China and Japan
for 1000 years. For
this canister, the wood was smoked
and lightly brushed to finish. This
process turns this soft wood into
a hard sturdy material. This
traditional piece is a design classic
for a tea canister.
