A single round porcelain disc makes the lid handle of this simple teapot. The manner of its asymmetrical placement atop the lid eludes to the motion of water boiling within. This object is further amplified by the horizontal spout and subtle ridges around the base of the pot.

BUNACO
Bunaco bowls and plates are made from coiled beech wood, originated by a company in Northern Japan where virgin beech trees grow. The manufacturing process uses thin slices of beech wood and the forms are hand shaped. The shapes are sensual, organic and simple. Each piece has an original character to it.
